Nursery & Toddlers

Our nursery is a comfortable, safe place for you to drop off your child, where they will be looked after by our team of well-trained, extensively background-checked childcare volunteers.

Our volunteers will rock, play with, and comfort your child, but they do not change diapers. When a child needs a diaper change we will contact the parent via text to come and change the child’s diaper.

Children are placed into three different rooms:

A mom’s room is available for nursing mothers.

Emmanuel Kids Discovery

3 years - Kindergarten

The prek - Kindergarten is separated into 2 rooms; 3 - 4 yr olds and 5 yr old - kindergarten. Each room starts with free play and then transitions into activities that prepare them for the Bible story. They engage in crafts, a snack and games that help them discover who God is and what He has done.

Emmanuel Kids Faith Formation

Grades 1 - 5

We start our elementary age children in the sanctuary where they experience worship alongside their families and the rest of our congregation. This helps them see that they are a part of God’s larger family. After the singing, the children are dismissed to their rooms where they engage in activities and lessons that help them apply God’s word to their lives.

1st - 3rd grade uses the Gospel Project curriculum, which goes through the bible chronologically while weaving in the Gospel message each week.

In the 4th - 5th grade room, kids think through some of the larger questions of their Christian faith. As the kids grow in their knowledge of the Word they are better equipped to live out their lives of faith in the world around them!
