Emmanuel Mentorship

Walking together toward Christ.

Emmanuel Mentorship

Emmanuel | Mentorship is a personal ministry, ministry that meets you right where you are. Whether it’s over coffee, over dinner, or in your living room, mentorship is about life-on-life, one-on-one, intentional relationships. It creates space for deeper conversations about your faith and where God is calling you to grow.

This mentorship ministry is designed with one goal in mind: to help you follow Jesus and show you how to do that for others. Whether you want to grow in your understanding of the Bible, unpack foundational doctrines, develop spiritual rhythms, or simply need someone to come alongside you during a difficult season, our mentors are excited to encourage, challenge, and guide you in the season God has you in.

We plant seeds of faith, hope, and love — and God does the transforming.

Our Mentorship Values

Mentorship at Emmanuel is guided by these core values:

Lead from Within

We pursue integrity and spiritual formation in our own lives before guiding others.

Truth in Love

We speak honestly with kindness, patience, and biblical conviction.

We Plant, God Transforms

We invest faithfully, trusting God to bring real change.

Vertical, Not Horizontal

Scripture, prayer, and God’s perspective guide every conversation.

Spirit-Led Relationships

We remain open to how God shapes each relationship over time.

What Is Mentorship?

What Is Mentorship?

Mentorship is a relationship centered on spiritual growth and support. Mentors and mentees walk alongside each other, sharing life, faith, and questions about calling, always pointing back to Jesus.

While mentors can’t replace counselors or fix problems, they provide a safe, encouraging space for honest conversation, reflection, and prayer. Together, mentor and mentee trust the Holy Spirit to guide growth and transformation in each person’s life.

What to Expect

What to Expect

  • You and your mentor will set a time, duration, and cadence that works best for both of you.

  • Time together will include prayer, Scripture, reflection, and discussion

  • Mentorship relationships grow organically and at a healthy pace

  • Pastoral support is available if needs arise beyond mentorship

Mentorship isn’t only for hard seasons — it’s for ongoing growth, discernment, and discipleship.

Who Is Mentorship For?

For Mentors

You don’t have to be perfect or professionally trained to be a mentor. You simply need to love Jesus, care about people, and be willing to walk faithfully with someone else.

Mentors at Emmanuel:

  • Lead with humility, integrity, and authenticity
  • Listen before they speak
  • Anchor conversations in Scripture and prayer

  • Speak truth with love, grace, and wisdom

  • Trust God to do the transforming work

If God is stirring your heart to invest in someone else, He will equip you for the calling.

For Mentees

Mentorship is for anyone who desires to grow in their relationship with Jesus and explore what faith looks like in everyday life.

Mentees are encouraged to:

  • Show up honestly and consistently
  • Ask questions and reflect on their story

  • Remain open, teachable, and prayerful

  • Trust God with their growth over time

You don’t need to have it all figured out — just a willingness to grow.
